Sem 3 Usrah - Why We Need to Be Khushu' (Fourth Session)

 Assalamualaikum, today we had our 4th Usrah session. For today's Usrah, Group 3 was presenting on 'Why we need to be Khushu'

Khushu' means to focus on our Ibadah with humility and humbleness

Several points were highlighted in their presentation;

1. Khushu' is a sunnah that completes the prayer

2. Khushu' is the way to gain more rewards from the Almighty Allah
When we performed our ibadah with khushu' we tend to be aware that we are being watched by Allah. Thus, we will try our hardest to understand what we're reciting (in prayers) to avoid distraction and attain khushu'

3. Khushu' will contribute factor for the acceptance of salat
When we attain khushu' in prayers, InsyaAllah our prayers are being accepted. We can feel the sweetness of Ibadah when it is being accepted

4. Khushu' leads to success in life and the afterlife
Surah al - Mu'minun verse 1-2 . Those who are khushu', are those who succeed

Zulaikha also shared about the benefits of Khushu' in prayers;

1. Succeed in Dunya and akhirah

2. Become obedient

3. Encourage Mujahadah in oneself

4. Remind us to Muhasabah

5. Attain 'Iffah

6. Tawadhu'
