SEM 3 Usrah - Benefits of Practicing Correct 'Amal, Preparation for Salah with Khushu' (Third Session)

Assalamualaikum, Shafiyyah here! For today's Usrah session group 2 was presenting about the Benefits of Practicing Correct 'Amal. There are 4 benefits in total that were presented;

1. Always remember  Allah in every step and daily activities
We have to realise that Allah is everywhere with us. Not a single second missed. This way, we can be more careful about how we act, and prevent ourselves from committing sins. We will become more productive to perform ibadah. Not just the compulsory ibadah, but also the sunnah ibadah.

2. Attaining the pleasure and acceptance of Allah
Whatever we do, we have to do it with the correct method. Our niyyah must be aligned with our method. For example, we can't steal money to donate. Donating is a good thing to do, but stealing isn't. Just because our objective is right, doesn't mean we don't have to go through the right channel to execute it. Attaining Allah's pleasure starts from our Niyyah and our ways of attaining it

3. Define our Akhlak as true Muslim
If we practice the correct 'Amal. People will judge us based on that. A good Muslim will set an example to other Muslims about how to practice the correct 'Amal. If our 'Amal is good then surely our Akhlak will be too.

4. Representing the real image of Islam
Because of our previous benefit which is good Akhlak, we will automatically represent the true virtues of Islam. Not just to Muslims but also to non-Muslims.
