Pillars of Iman
Assalamualaikum everyone! Shafiyyah here! For this week's Usrah session, we learnt about the first three pillars of Iman. Which are Belief in Allah, belief in Mala'ikah and belief in the Kutub (The books)
There are two categories of Iman in believing in Allah. The highest which is believing in Allah, and the lowest which is doing good deeds towards others. The smallest of acts are proofs of believing in Allah.
Belief in Mala'ikah comes next. As we know, Mala'ikah is created from An-Nur. They never disobey Allah. When they came to us, they bring Allah's blessings with them. Especially in knowledge-attainment settings. It made me realize that even when I'm tired when seeking knowledge, I shouldn't give up because Allah's blessings are with me.
Lastly, comes the belief in Kutub. The Holy Book Quran is a manual for the human being. It contains lessons from the previous ummah, guides to muamalat, munakahat, etc. All we have to do is follow them. Quran is preserved from being change, unlike the preceding Books.
I learnt a lot during the last Usrah session. For the next one, I hope it will be a little bit fun as I had trouble paying attention. Thank you and Assalamualaikum!
